Create a cute Cartoon Pencil

In this tutorial, we will learn to create a cute looking pencil drawing. Final output of the tutorial can be seen below:

Start by creating this shape with the rectangle tool

Select the ellipse tool and press "+" on the numeric keypad and draw an ellipse over the shape.

Add Gradient overlay as shown:

Also add a 2 pixel black color stroke in it. Image after applying above layer styles:

Now, with the help of the pen tool, draw this triangular shape:

Add a 2 pixel black color stroke and gradient overlay as shown:

Again, with the help of pen tool, draw a triangular shape below this shape:

Draw a white color circle with ellipse tool and add a 2 pixel black color stroke in it. Place it as shown in the figure:

Also draw 3 oval shapes each with dark gray, black and white color respectively to create an eye-lid as shown:

Duplicate the eye and place it as shown:

Now draw this mouth shape with pen tool. Choose #6C380A color to fill the shape and do not forget to add 2 pixel wide black color stroke in it :)

Draw these shapes with the pen tool, add 2 pixel black color stroke and fill with #F7CB99 color. Arrange them as shown in the next figure to form hand shape:

Draw finger lines with the help of the pen tool to finish the hand drawing:

Duplicate this hand layer and place to other side of the pencil. Our cartoon pencil is completed :)
